Member Mok Jin-whyu graduated from the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Sungkyunkwan University and earned a Master's degree in Policy Analysis and American Politics, as well as a Ph.D. in Political Science and Policy, from West Virginia University in the United States. After serving as a professor in the School of Public Administration and Policy at Kookmin University's College of Social Sciences, he currently serves as a Professor Emeritus.
Having served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration at West Virginia University and the Department of Political Science at the University of Northern Iowa, he has conducted extensive teaching and research in the fields of public administration and policy at Kookmin University for a long period. He has also built broad expertise in domestic and international policy fields by serving as a Fulbright Visiting Professor and participating in educational capacity building projects related to KOICA and international cooperation.
Furthermore, having served as a civilian member of the National Veterans Affairs Committee, Chairman of the Spent Nuclear Fuel Policy Forum at the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Head of the Government Innovation Management Evaluation Team at the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs, an evaluator for the Senior Civil Service, a policy advisor to the Central Personnel Committee, and a member of the self-evaluation committee for government ministries, he possesses rich advisory experience in public policy, government innovation, administrative evaluation, and institutional improvement. Commissioner Mok Jin-hu has been active as a host and panelist on current affairs and policy programs on major broadcasters such as KBS, Channel A, and the National Assembly Broadcasting System, providing balanced analysis of public issues and policy insights.
Based on this academic depth and field experience in policy, Commissioner Mok provides professional and practical advice on public policy, administrative regulations, advisory services for government and public institutions, and current legislative and policy issues.
