He is an expert in investigation and public security administration who has held various key positions within the police organization, including investigation, planning, and command. He accumulated extensive practical investigative experience and organizational management while serving as the Head of the Investigation Division at the Gyeongnam Provincial Police Agency, the Head of the Investigation Division at the Incheon Provincial Police Agency, the Head of the Special Investigation Division at the National Police Agency, the Director of the Forensic Science Center, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Division, and the Planning and Investigation Review Officer. Subsequently, he served as the Director General of the Investigation Bureau at the National Police Agency, Commissioner of the Daejeon Provincial Police Agency, Director General of the Security Bureau, Director General of Police Affairs and Personnel Planning, Commissioner of the Incheon Provincial Police Agency, Deputy Commissioner General of the National Police Agency, and Commissioner General of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, earning recognition for his high level of expertise and leadership across all aspects of police administration. Currently serving as an advisor at Sanwoo Law Firm (LLC), he contributes to the strategic response and advisory services for complex cases, drawing upon his extensive public service experience and deep understanding of investigation and criminal law.
